The consecration of the church

– Father Oleg, how it all began? Why did you decide to build a house?

– As a boy I wanted to build a house, when I grow up. I prayed every day, to God and Our Lady helped me. And then, When I become a priest already, for each liturgy I asked God's help in this.

– Why you decided to name the newly built church is the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary?

– You know, History was so named: I always felt a special love for the Mother of God and when it became a question, in honor of someone called Temple, I first of all decided to consult with his confessor, which is the holy Mount Athos. I told him: "I'm no Lady of nowhere and I want to call the church in her honor". He smiled and answered me: "When you have such love for her, then so be it ".

– Father Oleg, What you remember is the process of construction?

– I delved into every detail of the building and demanded, that each worker, master, Worker doing their job efficiently. But, know, each phase of construction was accompanied by miracles. Example, we ended up concrete. Suddenly, One man comes and says,: "We can not help you financially, but can provide concrete ". Gets another and said,: "Father Oleg, can help fittings, remaining from previous construction ". We look at this armature, and it is in their characteristics fully suited to the design of this church. And there were a lot of cases. Almost every step of the construction met such things. Our parishioners and families involved in the construction, who helped as he could and because they believe their church, relatives.

– It may, This explains and cozy family atmosphere, that prevails in the temple?

– Of course, the house initially conceived as a church family. We arranged there's corner, where there is a changing table for babies, diapers, napkins and playground. I think, today a must, that the person entered and felt, it is precisely in the family temple, where there is comfort, where there is a family atmosphere.

– Father Oleg, do you think, what is the special mission of the abbot of the temple?
